Dr Martens Patent Boots and Floral Skirt

skirt, top, belt and headband: topshop (skirt, top and belt - old)
boots: dr martens at office (sale)
rings: asos
peace necklace: ebay

Absolutely in love with my daisy and spikes headband from topshop
its probably going to be attached to my head over Summer
I've always liked having something on my head, whether it be a hat, bow, headband . . .
or even just a hood!

I hope everyone had a wonderful bank holiday weekend
I worked Saturday and Sunday (when it was Sunny)
And I was off today (it rained)
I went out for an Indian with my boyfriend
the one near me is seriously the best Indian restaurant I've ever been to
I really pushed the boat out aswell and had a starter which I never normally do because I get too full
couldn't finish of my naan though . . .
ooooh, and this is what I wore!

Naked Under Leather

top: evil twin at asos (old)
skirt, crown and sunglasses: topshop (crown-old)
bag: present
necklace: regal rose
red ring: rock 'n' rose

Everything I'm wearing is kinda old *soz* I dug out a few things I'd not worn for a while for a little trip to The Trafford Centre yesterday. I got a few bits and bobs, mostly beauty stuff and a few accessories from Topshop so I will be doing some kind of Haul post next week.
I have to keep it short and sweet I'm afraid because I'm off to work now, see you soon :)

skirt: motel
t-shirt: tesco
hat, belt and brogues: topshop (belt and brogues - old)
necklace: regal rose
socks: new look (old)
zip bracelet: present

I wore this out last night for my cousins 21st birthday party, the theme was black and white! I wear a lot of black and white anyway so I didn't have to buy anything especially, I just threw on my normal clothes. It was a top night but I've not been up to doing anything today so I've just been a couch potato and made my way through 2 Krispy Kreme donuts, a tub of ice cream and a hell of a lot of fizzy drinks!

Sheer Sleeves

dress: motel
hat: topshop
creepers: underground
necklace: regal rose
silver rings: asos

I've been working all week so haven't actually done anything majorly exciting, today I just assembled my new bed (turns out I'm a DIY natural, who knew?) it's beautiful - It's white with one of those vintage looking frames and a memory foam mattress! Oh dear I'm excited about a bed, definitely getting old. Oh and I went out for a pizza, whey!

Click HERE to find out more about the competition and how you can enter - with such incredible prizes up for grabs it's worth giving it a go! Good Luck!!

Here are my chosen outfits . . .

Shopping in London - £196.49
socks: topshop - £3.50
shoes: office - £25.00
sunglasses: topshop - £18.00
dungarees: topshop - £38.00
t-shirt: topshop - £10.00
eyeliner: collection 2000 - £2.99
backpack: asos - £38.00
chain: regal rose - £18.00
cap: asos - £35.00
lipstick: topshop - £8.00

I decided to embrace the white trend for my London outfit as I'm just loving everything white - it's such a fresh alternative to black especially during the Summer months. Dungarees are my absolute favourite item of clothing at the moment - even if they make me look a cross between a builder and a 5 year old - so ofcourse I would have to include a pair in my dream outfit! They're soooo comfy too which is ideal for a long day hitting the shops. There would be no chance of leg ache either with this pair of flatform pumps. I could definitely picture Rita Ora rocking this outfit around London - the gold chain, quirky shades and snapback cap are just her style. To add a pop of colour to the look I would add this gorgous topshop lipstick in 'The Damned' and I would pair it with some graphic style eyeliner. Take me to Oxford Street now!

Thailand 2

Full Moon Party in Thailand - £180.99
bag: asos - £25.00
nail polish: urban outfitters - £12.00
sandals: zara - £39.99
kimono: topshop - £60.00
shorts: evil twin at spoiled brat - £30.00
top: topshop - £6.00
sunglasses: boohoo - £8.00

I've gone a bit mental with the fringing in this outfit but I just love a few tassles to give a boho beachy vibe. A kimono is definitely an item of clothing I want to try out this Summer and Topshop have some really cool ones. I think this tie dye one would look perfect with these denim shorts and plain strappy top - it would look great thrown over a bikini during the day but I reckon at a full moon party I would be jumping around quite a lot and frankly, going a bit crazy, so I don't think a teeny tiny bikini would be very practical if I wanted to keep my dignity! I would wear these flat studded sandals so's to prevent any 'broken bottle in foot' kind of injuries and I'd finish of the look with this so-on-trend holographic nail polish.

Sightseeing in Paris - £153.98
bag: topshop - £18.00
lipstick: gosh at superdrug - £6.49
nail polish: barry m - £2.99
dress: motel - £40.00
boots: asos - £55.00
socks: topshop - £3.50
sunglasses: asos - £12.00
hat: river island - £16.00

I've really wanted this dress ever since I saw it on the Motel website, you can't go wrong with florals for Summer and it's black and white so that's another trend point. haaa. I've added a bit of an edge to the girly style of the dress with the studded biker boots and they look so comfy, perfect for a long day walking around seeing the sights. How cute would the frilly ankle socks look poking out of the top? I would wear the straw boater hat to give it a slight vintage feel, I also thought there was something very Parisian about it! This cute satchel would be perfect to carry my tourist guide around in, it reminds me of the Cambridge Satchel ones but without the heavy price tag. To complete the look I would add a touch of red lipstick and matching nails, tres chic!

New York
Cocktails in New York - £148.49
socks: topshop - £3.50
wedges: river island - £50.00
playsuit: topshop - £50.00
eyelashes: paperself at escentual - £12.00
lipstick: barry m - £4.49
ring: topshop - £8.50
necklace: topshop - £20.00

I really liked all the oriental prints that were on the catwalks for the Spring/Summer season so I decided to give my New York outfit an Eastern influence starting with this stunning playsuit - I much prefer playsuits to dresses at the moment, I just think they're that little bit cooler and there's zero chance of knicker flashing, win-win! I've colour co-ordinated this look as I think it looks really polished and I'd definitely make more of an effort with the finer details if I were to go to New York just because it's NEW YORK for gawds sake (although it would be impossible to look as cool as everyone there!) I've added a hint of quirkyness to this otherwise glam outfit, teaming some wedges with these cute li'l ankle socks! I would also love to wear these origami-style eyelashes from Paperself which fit in perfectly with my Japanese theme, aren't they amazing? I'd complete the look with with this beautiful necklace and this huge flower ring, because you can't go for cocktails without a cocktail ring, right?! All I need now is a sumo-style topknot in my hair and I'm ready for my first cosmopolitan!

Ibiza 2
Clubbing in Ibiza - £175.98
bracelet: chelsea doll - £9.00
nail polish: urban outfitters - £4.00
necklace: river island - £28.00
shorts: the ragged priest - £50.00
bralet: topshop - £4.00
sunglasses: boohoo - £4.00
headband: river island - £4.00
lip stain: revlon - £7.99
bag: zara - £19.99
sandals: juju at office  £25.00

If there's ever a time I go crazy with colour it would be in Ibiza. I love everything from 'The Ragged Priest' so I created my outfit around these tie dye shorts which I just love. They are high-waisted so they would look great with the cropped bralet. I absolutely love the Charlotte Olympia perspex clutch bags but at £600+ it would put me right out of my budget unfortunately so the Zara lookalike will have to do, although it does have an arm strap which would be handy to carry around some lippie and my purse. One thing I wouldn't be able to do is party all night in sky high heels so I've gone for these cute jelly shoes. I think jelly shoes are the type of thing you either love or hate but the 90's trend is my favourite so ofcourse I absolutely love them! Even if you hate them you can't deny they are the perfect holiday shoe and this pair are ultra violet so would look so cool under the disco lights! Finally I would pop on this daisy hair garland as it would look gorgeous with tousled beach hair.

Which is your favourite outfit?

Denim Dungarees and Heart Shades

dungarees: h&m (old)
t-shirt: topman
socks and sandals: topshop
bag: river island (old)
sunglasses: vintage shop

I know everyone's going on about this but how nice was the weather today?! I love Summer dressing so this is brilliant news for me and it makes a change from me standing in the rain in my outfit posts. It was so great not having to pile on loads of layers and end up wearing some giant frumpy coat that hides my entire outfit. I bought these dungarees either last year or the year before so I dug them out today to wear to town with my boyfriend as we were picking up a few things for our house (and we may also have popped in for a sneaky Subway!)
